Music collab for adventure game on Steam “Exo: Into Starlight”

Exo: Into Starlight

Mystik has started preliminary discussions with Superframe Media to contribute some musical inspiration and concept audio for a newly released game called Exo: Into Starlight, which was developed by a longtime friend and otherwise business collaborator on several previous projects, rockstar game, VR and 3D developer Greg Bowen.

It’s an exciting development and we’ve already offered up 4 tracks as potential inspiration or as material for consideration and future development, isolation of key sounds and orchestration of desired moments and layers of intensity.

The game consists of an android explorer and drone assistant exploring various exoplanet environments. We’re also excited to consider the opportunity to provide music for the second game demo consisting of 4 levels focused on four different kinds of environments including a) jungle, b) moonscape, c) arid technological civilization but post-climate change decimation and c) snowscape.

For now, we’re working to integrate the latest audio to the game, and the developer is continuing to design and add new features as well as shopping it around to larger companies seeking further investment to build it out to the full vision with multiple thematic levels.

Stay, tuned, to be continued!!

The game is out now on the Steam platform. You can play a demo and buy the game here: https://store.steampowered.com/app/696630/Exo_Into_Starlight/
